If they want to change the culture, doubling down on the uniform in a rigid way makes no sense. Starbucks is always my last resort and its because of its chain like feeling, which could feel unavoidable to starbucks at this point, but if employees weren't all wearing an old school uniform, the individual experience of shops could shine more, which is what I had thought they had been trying to get back to, days when people thought they were cool.
